Life Skills, Community and Work Reintegration
Integration
The component of the treatment program, physical, cognitive, communication and behavioral are co-ordinated and geared to the resumption of a normal daily functioning:
- Return to self care and household activities
- Return to community activities
- Return to work or school
Catastrophic Injuries
Therapy for individuals with severe catastrophic injuries is functional in nature and includes:
- Sensory stimulation
- Self-care
- Communication
- Transfers
- Mobility
- Social Skills
- Decreased reliance on attendant assistance
- Reintegration into home, leisure and work activities
Return to Work and School
Work and school integration programs are individually designed:
- Assessment of the person’s abilities
- Job analysis
- Work/school site consultation
- Ergonomic evaluation
