About Us

Inter-Action Rehabilitation Inc. is a practice of physical and occupational therapists, speech language pathologists and therapy support workers, whose mandate is to return the individual to independence in self care, work and leisure as quickly as possible.

We assess and treat people with mild to catastrophic neurological impairments, orthopaedic injuries and chronic pain resulting from:

  • Brain Injury
  • Head Injury
  • Musculoskeletal Injury
  • Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, M.S. and C.P.
  • Developmental Delays
  • Other Neurological Disorders

Treatment is given in the home, workplace, school and clinic.

Anna Greenblatt

B.O.T., O.T. Reg. (Ont.)

Ms. Anna Greenblatt is a qualified occupational therapist registered with the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists, Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She received her B.O.T. from McGill University and has practiced in Boston, Geneva, Paris and Toronto.

Anna has been in private practice since 1984 in neurological rehabilitation and traumatic injury. She is a founding partner at Inter-Action and co-owner of Inter-Action Rehabilitation Inc. Anna has expertise in the area of NDT/Bobath treatment and is trained in motor control, osteopathically based manual therapies and the treatment of pain problems caused by traumatic injuries. She teaches workshops in postural control and movement and myofascial release to practicing physical and occupational therapists and has published articles on minor head injury and perceptual-cognitive function as it relates to postural control and movement. She served as consultant for the C.A.O.T. production of the video Occupational Therapy: A Bridge Back to Work. She received her Bobath certificate in 1977, is an advanced myofascial release practitioner and has advanced N.D.T./Bobath training. Anna is a Saebo authorized therapist.

The “neurological hand” and the relationship between perception, cognition and movement are areas of particular interest to Anna.


 

Nancy Katsouras

B.Sc.O.T., OT Reg. (Ont.)

Ms. Nancy Katsouras received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. She is registered with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Nancy has been associated with Inter-Action since 1988. She has been a partner since 1990 and is co-owner of Inter-Action Rehabilitation. She developed Inter-Action Rehabilitation Inc.’s cognitive-perceptual assessment and treatment program, and is experienced with functional skills retraining, job site analysis and vocational reintegration, particularly with respect to brain injury and stroke related difficulties. She has expertise in physical rehabilitation, utilizing neurodevelopmental treatment techniques, osteopathically based manual therapies, and integrating perception, cognition and movement. Nancy has her certificate in neurodevelopmental treatment, is trained in advanced upper extremity and fine motor rehabilitation, and is an intermediate level practitioner in myofascial release. She has presented papers pertaining to brain injuries at professional development workshops and annual conferences and teaches workshops in postural control and movement in neurology and the application of myofascial release. Nancy is a Saebo authorized therapist.

Nancy has served as an expert witness in court cases and does medical legal assessments, including Cost of Future Care Assessments.
